Course Description
Prerequisite. Acceptance to the Nursing Program. Minimum grade of C in NURS 167, concurrent enrollment allowed. This course is designed to introduce the theoretical application of identifying and meeting basic nursing care needs of adult clients with varied backgrounds and perspectives. Emphasis is placed on client-centered care, evidence-based practice and informatics, safety, teamwork and collaboration, and professionalism. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]

Course Description
